Saying Goodbye

Today was our last Sunday having church in the old sanctuary. Pretty soon it's all going to be torn down so we can build a new addition!

If only she knew it can never be done! It is our nightly entertainment, though, so I'm kind of glad she hasn't figured it out yet;-) Gabby, on the other hand, is much too smart and sophisticated to be bothered with something as juvenile as a laser pen!

Bedtime

Soooo...I forgot to take a picture until late Friday night when I was already lying in bed, half asleep, watching The Office. I couldn't skip a day!! So I dragged my half-asleep self out of bed, grabbed my camera, and tiredly snapped a picture of my view from the bed. Because I was just too tired to do anything else!

Working Hard

Here is a small portion of the thousands of word cards I've had to cut out and laminate, and then cut out again for work this year. I have my own miniature laminator, so I'm able to do it at home in my bedroom. I did this for a few rousing hours while watching "Keeping up with the Kardashians"

Boys will be Boys...

This picture was taken at Luke's little cousin's birthday party, courtesy of Luke's iPhone. There was definitely a Nerf gun war. And the only person involved who was under the age of 20 was Luke's little cousin :-P Later the boys settled in for a game of Lego Star Wars on the PS2. I think Luke is wishing he was 10 again.

Wednesday we are having our carpet installed upstairs (finally!) We will then be moving all the furniture back in, installing a new railing, and hanging these pretty things on the walls :-) I'm so excited!
