Gabby and Ellie have been cuddling with each other and me all morning on the little "sick bed" I created for myself in the middle of the night when I couldn't sleep. I took a sick day, and they are making me feel a lot better :-) And who would have ever thought that a cat as mean as Gabby would come to love Ellie so much?!

Today was the first thunderstorm of 2010, and it was brutal! There is a big flood of water going right around the entrance to our house. It was not fun to deal with after Bible study tonight! Luke is currently trying to remedy the situation.

It has been a long time since Ellie has experienced any real warmth from the sunshine. As it flowed through our kitchen window on Tuesday, she kept rolling back and forth on the rug and stretching out like she just couldn't get enough of the warmth! It was really cute :-)
